The Province of Buenos Aires is one of the twenty-three provinces of Argentina, and it is located in the central-western region of the country. The City of Buenos Aires is the capital of the country, and at the same time the capital city of the Province of Buenos Aires, is the city of La Plata. San Bernardo del Tuyú, although popularly known simply as San Bernardo, is a city located on the famous and popular Costa de Argentina (the coast of Argentina), within the Province of Buenos Aires.

San Bernardo, like most Argentinian coastal towns located within the Province of Buenos Aires, is marked by receiving a large number of visitors during the Argentinian summer (high season).

The city is very close to other similar locations such as: Mar de Ajó, Mar del Tuyú, Santa Teresita, Las Toninas, Nueva Atlantis, General Juan Madariaga and Pinamar.

Some of the most visited points of San Bernardo are: Stella Maris Parish, Cine Arenas, Plaza de la Familia and Don Bosco Square, without taking account of its extensive and beautiful beaches, of course.
