The town of General Conesa is located on the right bank of the Negro River, within the Lower Valley and east of the province of Río Negro.

First, carry out the Eco-Tourism Trail: The “Currú Leuvú” Eco Tourist Trail is located in the area adjacent to the Municipal Camping Site of Gral. Conesa and is intended for recreational use of that natural area of ​​high ecological value, with the purpose to intervene in the conservation of the environment and create awareness in the community and in tourists about the value of natural resources. It was created by Municipal Ordinance No. 2136/2012 according to the Project presented by the Tourism Coordination. - The trail has a route of 2500 meters, with seven stations and an estimated travel time of 1 hour and 30 minutes where you can see the Black River, numerous species of birds, bridges (road and air) and historical references, duly signposted with information screens and resting points, all this accompanied by local guides or in a self-guided way. -

You can also do bird watching: In October it is mainly the most important meeting in Patagonia, it is intended for the bird watching public and to those who are interested in the activity. It is a gateway to nature because it allows you to connect with the natural and relax, open your senses to the sound of birds and their recognition. In addition to learning about their behavior and the trees where they perch. They include: bird watching courses, workshops, field trips, artistic bird shows and exhibitions.

For fishing fans: The valley is a place chosen by lovers of this sporting activity. A river of extraordinary qualities with varied and abundant fishing of pejerreyes and trout of good size.
