Palpalá, head of the homonymous department, is located 13 km southeast of the capital city of San Salvador de Jujuy.

Palpalá is the ideal setting for those who enjoy direct contact with nature and are encouraged to adventure tourism.

The city of Palpalá Jujuy is important in the tourist sense due to several events of which it has been part, one of them is that it was the first Olympic Village that was established in the province, with a stadium, points with Internet access, and much more.

The city of Palpalá is located within the Yungas biosphere reserve, promoted by UNESCO, which seeks to obtain a balance between the population and the surrounding nature that is not affected.

Some of the most visited touristic points of the City of Córdoba are: the famous "Iglesia de Los Capuchinos", Los Terrones, Museo Histórico UNC Manzana Jesuítica and Valle de Calamuchita, among other natural attractions.
