The city of San Juan is the capital of the homonymous province (Province of San Juan) and is located in the Argentina region of Cuyo, in the centre of the country.

The province has a population of around 680,000 inhabitants, thus, becoming the 13th most inhabited province of Argentina. Like Mendoza, is bordered to the east by the Cordillera de Los Andes, and also stands out in the area of vitiviniculture, as well as the Province of Mendoza.

The city of San Juan is close to other locations such as: Mendoza, Chilecito, La Rioja, Recreo, La Falda, Cordoba, Carlos Paz, Villa Dolores, La Toma and San Luis.

Some of the most visited points within the Province of San Juan are: the (scenic) route 150, Paso de Aguas Negras, San Juan River and Ischigualasto Provincial Park, where the famous Valle de la Luna is located, renowned for its breathtaking scenery.

Information about Cipolletti:

Cipolletti is a city located within the Province of Río Negro, in western Río Negro, practically bordering the province of Neuquén, is located about 10 km from the city of Neuquén.

The city has around 80,000 inhabitants, and is very close to other locations such as: Neuquén, Centenario, Plottier, Cutral Co, General Roca, Villa Regina and Casa de Piedra.

Although tourism is not its main economic activity, the number of visitors has been increasing in recent years, and some of the most popular activities visited when traveling to Cipolletti are: Parque Roseur, Corredor Turístico Parque Cretacico, Arroyito, Santuario de Santa Rita de Ferri. Some other common activities are fishing and bird watching.

There's a bus terminal located in the center of the city, right in the centric Plaza San Martin.
